| Summary: | Writ to Charlton to send into Chancery all proceedings in the case in Common Pleas for which Bautre has surrendered himself to the Fleet Prison. Pleading notes that Dam, a York spicer, brought a plea against Bautre, former treasurer of Archbishop Neville, on a debt of £6 18s 1¾d in Easter term 1387. Bautre did not appear. On 12 February 1388, Bautre found sureties, but the sheriff then came and reported that he had been outlawed. On 21 April 1388, Bautre surrendered to the court and was committed to the Fleet.
