Summary: Certification of the official of the archdeacon of the East Riding, following receipt of a commission of the archbishop (not recited), dated at Scrooby, 19 October 1400, of execution of an inquisition into the patronage of the prior and convent of Guisborough to the vicarage of Hessle, after which he had performed the institution and induction of Brother John de Barton to the vicarage of Hessle with the chapel of Holy Trinity, Kingston upon Hull, vacant by the death of Brother Richard Marke, canon of Guisborough.
