| Summary: | Commission to the prior of Haltemprice (Alta Prisa) and the rector of the church of Aldborough (Adeburgh; Aldeburgh) to exhume the bones of Sir John Meaux, knight, Godfrey Meaux, his great grandfather, John Meaux, his grandfather, and Godfrey Meaux, his father, as well as Scholastica and Joan, his sisters, which are buried in the churchyard of Aldborough and therefore situated in sandy, gravelly soil susceptible to inundation from the sea in a short time, and have them removed and reburied at Haltemprice priory. |
