Summary: Memorandum of remission for John de Chaggele (or Jaggelay), rector of Scrayingham, of a mulct imposed on him by the official of York for selling fruits of that church before separation for two years past; with note of a letter concerning the remission to Roger de Thornton, receiver; also of another letter to Roger de Thornton not to molest the rector for a mulct imposed on him for non residence for two years, if he could prove that he resided there, as he said he did (two entries).
