| Summary: | Certification of commission of the archbishop (recited), dated at the archbishop's manor of Cawood, 7 August 1403, by the dean of Ripon to make inquiries into the vacancy and patronage of the chantry at the altar of St John the Evangelist in Ripon Minster to which the chapter of Ripon had presented Robert Kendal, priest; resulting in the approval of Kendal and informing of his institution and induction into the chantry by the dean of Ripon. |
