Summary: Mandate to the dean of Pontefract to summon the executors of Robert de Benyngton [Benington], lately keeper of the chapel of Ferrybridge (Feribrigg'), or those who occupy his goods, and inquire by trustworthy clerks and laymen into the defects of the chancel of the chapel, its books and other ornaments, sequestering from the goods of the deceased sufficient to make good the defects, and cause them to be kept safely until further mandate otherwise; with order to certify his findings and what has been sequestered by letters patent and close, in order to inform the archbishop and John de Clone, current keeper of the chapel.
