Summary: Appointment of Master John de Thoresby as proctor of the archbishop to return a recognisance for 1000 marks made to the archbishop in Chancery on 14 July 1334 by John Junctyn [Giovanni Giuntini] of the Society of the Peruzzi, Alexander de Bard [? Alessandro de’ Bardi] of the Society of the Bardi, and John de Womme (or Wom or Wome) of York merchant.
Note:
In this entry, the recognizance was stated to have been made on 14 July 1334, but in the previous entry (Reg 9A, f. 66v, entry 12), a recognizance, probably the same one, was stated to have been made on 14 June 1334.
