| Note: |
The identification of 'Jubilensi' as Gabala is not entirely certain, but seems highly likely. It is almost certainly the name of a defunct Middle Eastern or Mediterranean bishopric, used as an honorific for a suffragan bishop working in the archdiocese of York, and the calendar printed in Surtees Society, vol. 141 (p.179, n. 1) suggests that it may refer to 'Gabala' in Syria (now known as Jableh, near Latakia). The name of the bishop is unknown.
