Summary: Acquittance (receipt) for £150 received from Richard Tournay, Robert de Lichefeld [Lichfield] and Robert de Coupeland [Coupland], by the hands of Nicholas de Sighelesthorn [Sigglesthorne], archbishop's receiver at Beverley, owed to the archbishop for Master Robert Spigornel [Spigurnel], rector of Kirk Ella (Elveley).
Note:
A note in the margin states that the three men had a letter to the dean of Harthill for a declaration of their being absolved, presumably from excommunication, for a delay in payment.
