Summary: Mandate to the official of the court of York to offer prayers for the Prince of Wales [Edward of Woodstock], firstborn son of King Edward III, against his adversaries in war and on his journey, and to cause weekly processions of the clergy and people throughout the city and diocese to be procured, as well as masses for the prince and the duke of Lancaster, who the archbishop believes is assisting the prince; with an indulgence of forty days.
