| Summary: | Dispensation for Master William de Carleton, canon of the chapel of St Mary and Holy Angels, York, who is currently so broken down physically that he can no longer respond to the canonical hours, on condition that a suitable vicar shall act for him in his prebend, and that he might receive the distributions as a residentiary; with a memorandum of a mandate to [Master Thomas del Mare] the sacrist of the chapel to deliver daily rations to Master William even though he will not reside there or be present at the canonical hours (two entries). |
