Summary: Copy of a writ of Edward III permitting the archbishop to accept the presentation by the prior of Norton of his clerk, John Gerard, to the church of Ratcliffe on Soar, despite an earlier writ of prohibition. Ebulo Lestraunge [le Strange], who had claimed the presentation and presented Walter de Wetewang [Wetwang], clerk, has appeared in the king's chancery and recognised the prior's right.
