Summary: Letters of the vicar general to the parochial chaplains of the parish church of Whitby, and other chaplains celebrating there, informing them that, following a plea from the abbot and convent of Whitby, rectors of that church, the archbishop has cancelled the interdict placed upon the church by Master Thomas de Walkyngton [Walkington], archdeacon of Cleveland, on account of the condition of the chancel of the church, on condition that the abbot and convent make repairs before Easter next.
