| Summary: | Certification by the official of the archdeacon of the East Riding, following receipt of a commission of the archbishop (recited), dated at the archbishop's manor of Bishopthorpe (Thorp juxta Ebor'), 27 November 1399, of execution of an inquisition into the vacancy and patronage of the chapel at Argam (Erghom), to which Richard Raper, priest, had been presented by John de Ask, reporting that after an inquisition had been held in Lowthorpe church (those present listed), the patronage of John de Ask, donzel, by right of his wife, was confirmed and Raper inducted. |
