| Summary: | Certification of Thomas de Weston, licentiate in laws, archdeacon of Durham, vicar general of Walter [Skirlaw], bishop of Durham, of execution of a commission of the archbishop (partly recited), dated at Bishop Burton, 25 March 1401, for an exchange of benefices between Thomas Whihot, vicar of Heighington, Durham diocese, and John de Catton, rector of Folkton, York diocese; he had received Catton's resignation and instituted Whihot to Folkton, on the presentation of Joan de Graystok, lady de Lucy. Sealed with the seal of the archdeaconry of Durham. |
