Summary: Letter to the archdeacon of Nottingham informing him that it is rumoured that [Walter Reynolds], archbishop of Canterbury, is going to enter the province of York with his cross erect, to the prejudice of the archbishopric of York. Mandate for the publication of an inhibition that no one is to bow at the archbishop's cross or assist him, on pain of excommunication (details given).
