Summary: Certification to the abbot of York, St Mary, sub-collector of the papal tenth in the diocese of York (royal writ dated at York, 26 November 1318, recited) of the new valuation for taxation [Nova Taxatio] of the prebend of Masham (Massam) at 120 marks, Masham vicarage at 40s, the prebend of Bickhill cumh Knaresborough (Bichill' cum Knaresburgh') at £20, and the precentorship of York Minster at £10; with a mandate to deliver the sums to be collected to the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer.
