| Summary: | Commission to Master William la Mare, canon of York Minster, Master John de Wodehous [Woodhouse], canon of York Minster, Master John de Crakhall [Crakehall], doctor of decrees, and Master Adam de Twysilton [Twistleton], the archbishop's commissary-general, to inquire into the defects in the books, vestments and ornaments of the chapel, as well as in the houses, closes and buildings of the archbishop's palace, the houses, closes and buildings of the manors and granges pertaining to the archbishop and to York Minster, whose repair pertained to Archbishop Zouche during his lifetime and to his executors after his death, and into the alienation of sequestered goods and damage in the archbishop's and the Minster's woods. |
