Summary: Mandate to the official of the archdeacon of Richmond for the correction of William Pistor [Baker] of Ripon, chaplain, at Aysgarth, who was the chief inventor and ringleader of a pestilent game called 'Dyngethryftes' (thought to be a gambling game, perhaps similar to something like 'Shove Ha'penny'); he was also defamed with Clemency, daughter of John called Preestes of Ripon.
