| Summary: | Commission and mandate to the official of the East Riding and the deans of Harthill and Holderness to inhibit Robert de Shireborn, Simon Lylyman, vicar of Preston, and Richard de Killum [Kilham] from attempting anything prejudicial to the appeal to the papal curia of David de Wolloure [Wooler], rector of Hornsea (Horneseye in Holdernesse), who alleges that have excommunicated him without cause and have illegally cited him and placed his church under interdict; they are also to cite them to appear before the official of the court of York or his commissaries in York Minster on the next law day after Candlemas; with further order to certify their receipt of this mandate and their actions by their letters patent. |
