Summary: Royal writ of King Edward II to the sheriff of Lincoln for raising scutage from the archbishop for his knight's fees in Lincolnshire; with a list of the fees of the archbishop of York in the county in the book of fees in the Exchequer, giving names of sixteen holders of knight's fees in the county, including Grace de Insula [Lisle] (twentieth part of a knight's fee in Tothby (Toutheby), and Robert de Brettevill' [Bretteville] and Mabilia de Verly (one and a half knight's fees in Burgh on Bain (Burgo) and Willoughby (Wylgheby) (details given)).
