| Summary: | Mandate to the archbishop's official of York for an inhibition to the inhabitants of the vill of Airmyn, tenants of the abbot of York, St Mary's Abbey, not to have an oratory or chapel newly built in Airmyn without the archbishop's special licence, as he has heard that they have done in contempt of the archbishop and of the mother church of Snaith, and for a citation for them to appear before the archbishop if masses have been celebrated or any other sacraments have been administered there. |
