| Summary: | Letter to the prior and convent of Newburgh concerning Queen Isabella's request for them to provide a pension for Thomas de Weston, a clerk in her household; although they could not comply without the archbishop's permission, the archbishop grants them licence, provided that the pension did not cause them hardship, wishing to do what the queen asks, as the queen wrote twice to her father the King of France and to her steward in Ponthieu, that they should let them stay in any castle, manor or place that that county. |
