| Summary: | Mandate to the dean of Bulmer to go immediately in person to the church of South Kilvington (Kylvington) and issue a monition to Roger Gretheved [Greathead], rector there, to return to his parish within a month, reside there and resume governance and cure of souls which he has recently neglected, appropriating the goods of his church to himself; he is also to sequester the fruits, rents and issues of the church and keep them safely until order otherwise; with order to cite Robert to appear before the archbishop on the second law day after St Matthew next [21 September] to receive justice. |
