Summary: Letter in French of the archbishop, Richard [Kellaw], bishop of Durham, John [de Halton], bishop of Carlisle, and Thomas [de Kirkcudbright], bishop of Galloway (Gaweye) (Whithorn; Candida Casa) to the king, informing him of the refusal of the clergy of York province to the king's request for a subsidy or aid of 12d in the mark, and that William de Melton would bring the reply.
