Summary: Certification by Henry [Beaufort], bishop of Lincoln, of receipt and confirmation of a commission of the archbishop (recited), dated at the archbishop's castle at Cawood, 26 August 1400, to expedite an exchange of benefices proposed between Thomas Stanhurst, rector of the parish church of Sausthorpe (Saucethorp), Lincoln diocese, and Richard Ossett, rector of the parish church of Kirk Smeaton (Kyrksmeton), having received the resignation of Ossett and performed the institution of Stanhurst to Kirk Smeaton, patron: King Henry IV by reason of the minority of Sir Edward de Hastynges [Hastings], knight.
