Summary: Request to Stephen de Malo Lacu [Mauley], archdeacon of Cleveland, who is apparently simultaneously acting for the archbishop and as vicar general of the bishop of Durham as keeper of the spiritualities within the liberties of Allerton and Howden following the death of Brother Richard, formerly prior of Durham, to desist from acting for the bishop to the grave prejudice of the church of York.
