Summary: Appropriation of the church of Dewsbury (Dewesbury) to the dean and college of St Stephen's chapel, Westminster (details given), allowing them to take full possession on the resignation or death of John de Maydenstone [Maidstone], the present rector, and reserving to the archbishop the ordination of a perpetual vicarage in the church; with notarial subscription by John de Aldefeld, notary public (witnesses named).
Marginalia:
The heading in the margin is decorated with three four-petalled flowers/saltire crosses in square boxes. A mark in the margin on fol. 26v draws attention to an annual pension to be paid from Dewsbury to the archbishops of York.
