| Summary: | Writ to the archbishop's bailiff of Hexham notifying him of the appointment of Sir John de Swynburn (or Swyneburn or Swynesburn) [Swinburne], knight, Sir John de Vallibus [Vaux], knight, William de Swethop (or Swetehop or Swethope) [Sweethope], and Adam de Colewelle (or Colewell) [Colwell] to act as justices of gaol delivery of the archbishop's gaol of Hexham (Hextildesham) and ordering him to cause prisoners to appear before the justices on a date to be set by them. |
