Summary: Acquittance (receipt) for £40 received from Sir Hugh Daudeleye [de Audley], knight, by the hands of Thomas de Radclyf [Radcliffe], archbishop's bailiff of Southwell, in repayment of a recognizance made to the archbishop in Chancery for a loan; with a memorandum that the acquittance and other documents were sent to Thomas, including letters close addressed to Master Henry de Clyf' [Cliffe], canon of York, with instructions to withdraw the recognizance made by Sir Hugh.
