Summary: Certification (witnesses named) by John de Barnet, canon of St Paul's Cathedral, London, commissary of William [Edington], bishop of Winchester, of receipt and confirmation of a commission of Archbishop Thoresby (recited), dated at Cawood, 6 March 1359, to examine, discuss, approve and expedite an exchange of benefices proposed between Master John de Wynewyk [Winwick], canon of Salisbury Cathedral and prebendary of Yetminster Secunda (Netherbury Yatemynstre) therein, and John de Welwyk [Welwick], canon of Ripon Minster and prebendary of Monkton therein, which pertains to the archbishop's collation, receiving the resignation of Welwick and inducting Winwick, and of his admission and induction of Winwick through his proctor Master William de Tyrington [Terrington], clerk; with a notarial subscription by Master John de Branketre [Braintree], notary public of Norwich diocese.
