Summary: Certification by Archbishop Thoresby of receipt and confirmation of a commission of John [Gynwell], bishop of Lincoln (recited), dated at Sleaford (Lafford), 13 October 1360, to expedite an exchange of benefices proposed between Master John de Wellewyk [Welwick], canon of York Minster and prebendary of Holme (Holm Archiepiscopi) therein, and Richard de Thorne, rector of Barton in Lincoln diocese, in his admission and institution by John Benet [recte Henry Benet], John's proctor, pursuant to an inquisition held by the official of the archdeacon of Bedford (Bedeford) and the resignation of Robert de Garton, Richard's proctor, patron: abbot and convent of Ramsey (Ramnesey).
