Summary:	Notarial instrument containing a copy of the judgement by the vicar general on the ex officio cause brought against parishioners (named) of York, St Olave, concerning the repair of the nave of their church, evidence including a synodal statute of Walter Grey [de Gray], formerly archbishop of York; with a notarial subscription, noting it having been read and carried by Master John Botlesham [Bottisham] in the church of St Olave, 24 March 1396 (witnesses named, including Thomas Grenewode [Greenwood], notary public).
