Summary: Certification of Henry [Beaufort], bishop of Lincoln, of receipt and confirmation of a commission of the archbishop (partly recited), dated at the archbishop's castle of Cawood, 6 August 1400, to expedite an exchange of benefices proposed between John de Walkyngton [Walkington], rector of Sedgebrook (Segbruk), diocese of Lincoln, and John de Collum [Collom], rector of Rowley, York diocese; with confirmation of the institution by the bishop of John de Walkyngton to the rectory of Rowley, patron: Henry IV following the forfeiture of Thomas [Holland], lately earl of Kent; with a note of the obedience of Walkington to the archbishop at Cawood, 10 August 1400, and order to the archdeacon of the East Riding or his official for his induction (two entries).
