Summary: Letter from Master William de la Mare, provost of Beverley, reciting letters from the archbishop containing a commission to expedite the exchange of benefices proposed between Master Nicholas de Martefeld [Marefield], rector of St Crux, York, (patron: abbot and convent of St Mary's, York), and Walter de Bridelyngton [Bridlington], rector of Leven (Leven in Holdernesse), and, if appropriate, to institute Walter to the church of St Crux, reserving his induction and oath of obedience to the archbishop; Master William informs the archbishop that he has instituted Walter as instructed.
