Summary: Letter to Master Ralph de Coningesburgh [Conisbrough], official of the archdeacon of York, to hold an inquiry into the state of the church of Sheffield (Shefeld) in the castle, according to the articles annexed (not recited), provided that Sir Thomas de Furnivale [Furnival], knight, and the prior and convent of Worksop (Wyrksop) are given warning so that they can attend if they see fit.
