| Summary: | Notification to Master Richard de Drax, doctor of Civil Law, of his appointment as the archbishop's advocate at the Roman Curia, requesting that he challenge any apostolic letters against him there, that he will receive the letters patent drawn up concerning this and expedite the business contained therein, substituting another proctor if he shall wish. The archbishop will provide him with a suitable salary, and request further that he will press the archbishop's petitions with the pope in the same manner as Brother Gilbert de Welton, bishop of Carlisle, then his proctor, had previously done. |
