Summary: Certification by William de Storteford [Stortford], canon of London, official of London, keeper of the spiritualities of the bishopric of London during a vacancy the see, of receipt and confirmation of a commission of the archbishop (recited), dated at Cawood, 17 January 1405, to expedite an exchange of benefices proposed between Henry Merston [Marston], prebendary of Oxgate in St Paul's Cathedral, London; rector of Cottingham, Lincoln diocese, and John Martyn [Martin], prebendary of Beckingham in Southwell Minster, York diocese; with an order, dated 20 February 1405, to the chapter of Southwell for the induction of Merston to the prebend of Beckingham (two entries).
