| Summary: | Commission to the official of the provost of Beverley Minster and the deans of Harthill and Holderness to inhibit Robert de Shireburne, sacrist of Beverley Minster, from attempting anything to the prejudice of David de Wolloure [Wooler], rector of Hornsea (Hornesey in Holdernesse), and John de Bildeston, vicar of Paull, his proctor, while an appeal is pending, he having, they claim, no authority over them but nevertheless excommunicating them without cause and constantly molesting them and the possession of their church, and to cite them to appear before the official of York in York Minster on the third law day after St Scholastica the Virgin next; with order to certify their actions by letters patent. |
