Summary: Royal writ ordering the archbishop to ensure that Richard de Boszale [Bossall], parson of Bossall (Boscehale), appears before the justices at Westminster at the octave of Trinity, to answer John de Chagele, parson of Scrayingham (Scrayngham), on a plea of debt of 100s. The sheriff informed the justices at the quindene of Easter that Richard is a clerk, and has no lay fee by which he can be summoned. Witnessed by William de Bereford. Response noting that this was done.
