| Summary: | Letter of Deodatus [Dieudonne], abbot of Lagny, and Sicard de Vaur, canon of Narbonne, papal chaplains and auditores causarum, to the patriarch of Jerusalem, the archbishop of York and the bishops of Lincoln and Chichester, informing them of an increase in their expenses as papal commissioners in inquiries into the order of the Knights Templar, which was to be met by a tax of one penny in the mark (details given). |
