Summary: Transcript of the official of the court of the bishop of London of the papal bull 'Faciens misericordiam' of Pope Clement V (recited), forming part of the trial of the order of Knights Templar, accused of heresy, setting out the ways in which the Templars were to be tried (partial copy) and containing a mandate to the patriarch of Jerusalem [Anthony Bek, bishop of Durham], the archbishop of York and others to make inquiries about the Templars in the province of Canterbury.
