Summary: Acquittance (receipt) from Guillaume [Teste], cardinal priest of S. Ciriaco alle Terme Diocleziane, chamberlain of the college of cardinals, for the archbishop for 160 florins for 40 marks received from the archbishop by the hands of Master Alan de Coniggesburgh [Conisbrough], the archbishop's proctor at the Roman Curia, in payment of an annual pension of 20 marks due to the cardinal from the archbishop for 1324 and 1325.
Note:
An undated memorandum in the margin at Reg 9A, f. 36r, entry 7 shows that all the acquittances in Reg 9A, f. 36r, entries 1-7 were sent to R [Richard] de Grimeston [Grimston], archbishop's receiver at York, to be kept in the treasury at York.
