Summary: Certification, pursuant to the archbishop's mandate (recited), dated at Cawood, 5 April 1359, and received on 7 April, by the chapter of Ripon Minster to Archbishop Thoresby for the induction, in the person of Henry de Melburn [Melbourne], under-treasurer of York Minster, his proctor, of John de Wynewyk [Winwick], clerk, to the canonry and prebend of Monkton in the same Minster, vacant by the resignation of Master John de Wellewyk [Welwick], former incumbent by Master William de Tyryngton [Terrington], his proctor, following an exchange with the canonry and prebend of Yetminster Secunda (Netherbury Yatemonstre) in Salisbury Cathedral.
