Summary: Certification by Henry [Beaufort], bishop of Lincoln, of receipt and confirmation of a commission of the archbishop (recited), dated at the archbishop's house by Charing Cross, London diocese, 14 March 1399, to expedite an exchange of prebends proposed between William Noion, canon of York Minster and prebendary of South Cave, and Master William de Waltham, canon of York Minster and prebendary of Dunnington, and canon of Lincoln cathedral and prebendary of Leighton Manor; with a note of the institution of Noion and Waltham to their prebends in York Minster, patron: King Richard II, by reason of the vacancy of the archbishopric; with a mandate, dated at the archbishop's house by Westminster, London, 20 March 1399, to the chapter of York, in the absence of the dean, for the induction of Noion and Waltham to the prebends in York Minster (two entries).
