| Summary: | Royal writ of King Edward II to the archbishop of York to cause John de Seleby [Selby], parson of a moiety of the church of Rillington, a clerk of the archbishop, to appear before justices at Westminster on the morrow of St Martin [12 November] to answer Walter de Brakenholm [Brackenholme] in a plea of debt of six marks, noting that the sheriff of Yorkshire had certified during Trinity term the fact that Selby had no lay fee in his bailiwick. |
