Summary: Notification to the chapter of York of the admission of Master John de Nassington to the prebend of South Newbald in York Minster, as [John de Markenfield]; the subtreasurer of York, and the dean of Christianity had discovered that the prebend was vacant when in the hands of the late King Edward I, after an inquiry following receipt of letters of King Edward II, stating that Peter de Sabaudia [Savoy] was in possession.
