| Summary: | Certification by Archbishop Thoresby of receipt and confirmation of a commission of John [Sheppey], bishop of Rochester (recited), dated at episcopal manor of Halling, 12 June 1353, to expedite an exchange of benefices proposed between John Dynet of Burton of Aylestone, rector of Bolton Percy, and Master John de Irford, rector of Swanscombe (Swanescomp) in Rochester diocese and prebendary of Llanddw (Landon) and Llanfaelon (Landavaelon) in the collegiate church of Abergwili (Aberwilly) in the diocese of St David's and of his institution of John Dynet to Swanscombe at the presentation of Sir Richard Talbot senior, knight, in the person of Peter Upton, priest of Worcester diocese, his proctor. |
