Summary: Order to William de Jafford [Yafforth], archbishop's receiver of York, to deliver 5 gold florins and 5 silver shillings to Gerardo de Kiatri (or Kyatri or Kyatre or Kiatry) [Chiatri], merchant of the Society of the Bellardi of Lucca, for repayment of a bond to Gerardo for expenses of the archbishop's messengers; also £120 to John de Merkingfeld [Markenfield], for repayment of a loan in which the archbishop was bound to William de Hamelton [Hamilton], deceased, John being his executor; and 100 marks to the abbot of York, St Mary, collector of the papal tenth imposed by Pope Boniface VIII in 1301 for 5 years [? three papal tenths of 1301], for the first collection of the third year.
