Summary: Acquittance (receipt) from Napoleone (Neapolio) [Orsini], cardinal deacon of S. Adriano al Foro, for the archbishop for 40 marks (160 florins) received from the archbishop by the hands of Master Alan de Conigesburgh [Conisbrough], the archbishop's proctor at the Roman Curia, in payment of an annual pension of 20 marks due to the cardinal from the archbishop for 1324 and 1325.
Note:
An undated memorandum in the margin at Reg 9A, f. 36r, entry 7 shows that all the acquittances in Reg 9A, f. 36r, entries 1-7 were sent to R [Richard] de Grimeston [Grimston], archbishop's receiver at York, to be kept in the treasury at York.
